Friends And Family Gather to Remember Shauna Howe

October 27th, 2012

Nearly 50 people gathered tonight in Oil City to remember Shauna Howe, the 11 year old girl who was kidnapped and killed while walking home from a Halloween party 20 years ago.

As they have done for the past two decades since her death, friends and family gathered near the location she was at, the Wilson Avenue Church, and walked to the area where she was abducted near Reed and West 1st Streets in Oil City.

20 years later, Shauna's memory lives on, especially with Joyeal Sines who was with Shauna that night.

Howe's body was found a few days after she was reported missing near a creek bed in Rockland.

10 years later, 2 brothers, James and Timothy O'Brian were found guilty of kidnapping and killing the 11 year old.
