November 5th, 2012

Candidates in the major local races are making last minute pleas.

In the 49th District senatorial race, Republican candidate Janet Anderson says her focus is on employers and employees. Her opponent, Sean Wiley, says he feels it's his responsibility to ensure a viable future for the community by focusing on education and jobs.

In the race for State Representative in the 3rd District,

Republican Jason Owen wants you to know he's focused on making Pennsylvania more competitive in business and education.

His opponent, Ryan Bizzarro, says education, job creation, infrastructure and public safety are all critical areas of his campaign.

Another big race is for U.S. Rep in the 3rd District.

The incumbent, Republican Mike Kelly, says getting the country's economy growing again is important.

His challenger, Missa Eaton, says making sure people can find and keep jobs will be her concentration.

And Independent candidate Steven Porter wants to focus on the problems of the American people instead of serving what he calls special interests.

All the candidates say it's critical for you to get out and vote.
