A man who spent the last twenty five years in prison for abusing a young boy in the Allegheny National Forest walked out of jail and back into trouble today.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police, 69 year old Jose Ramos was immediately re-arrested and put back in jail for a Megan's Law violation.

As a sex offender, Ramos is required to provide an address to law enforcement. According to police the address Ramos gave on his release from SCI Dallas is no longer accurate.

Ramos was a suspect in the disappearance of 6 year old Etan Patz. The youngster disappeared while on his way to a bus stop near his family's lower Manhatten home.

The Patz family pursued and won a civil judgement against Ramos in a wrongful death case.

Ramos is back in jail, unable to post a $75,000 bond.
