Election Voter Turnout Yields High Percentage

November 7, 2012-- The election drew major crowds to the polls yesterday and officials are starting to estimate high percentages of those who exercised their rights.

Erie county clerk of elections Doug Smith says right no voter turnout is an unofficial 65%

Smith says there are still a few thousand absentee ballots that need to be counted.

After that is complete it is expected to bump that percentage up to 67%
