November 12, 2012 - The Jefferson Educational Society's Global Summit kicks off Tuesday night and is gaining national attention.

Speakers for the event include David Brooks, Barry Lynn, Karl Rove, Norman Ornstein, Robert Kirshner, Ira Byock and Barry Casselman.

Because of high demand, the Karl Rove and David Brooks events have been moved to collegiate academy.

Rove is making his way to Erie following his controversial election night remarks.

"He's speaking on the future of the Republican party, right here in Erie, a week after the election, it's pretty incredible," said Ferki Ferati. "We've sold 1,800 tickets we're expected to reach 2,500 tickets."

Tickets are still available and can be purchased online at jeserie.org or by calling 459-8000.
