Does a physician have to refer me?

-->
No. A physician or discharge planner may refer you for admission to our hospital or a family member may call or you may self refer. We will contact your doctor and advise them of the referral. This allows us to gather all of your medical issues and medications so we can make the best rehabilitation plan for you. The admissions office can answer any questions you have about referrals, admission and insurance. It can also work with your physician to arrange a referral.
