Man Charged with Stealing Copper from GE Transportation

November 14, 2012 - An Erie man faces charges from Lawrence Park Police for reportedly stealing large amounts of copper from Erie's largest employer.

    Daniel Saulnier, 33, is accused of stealing more than ten grand worth of copper from GE Transportation.

    Erie Police reportedly saw Saulnier stripping tubing from copper while in route to check on a domestic incident.

    According to police records, Saulnier was working for a contractor doing work at the plant.

    Saulnier faces charges including theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.
