ECGRA Gives More Than $1 Million to ECF Endowment Fund

November 16, 2012 - The Erie County Gaming Revenue Authority is investing more than one million dollars in the Erie County Lead Asset Endowment Fund.

    The endowment fund was started in February 2012 when ECGRA donated more than $5 million to start the fund.

    Some of the lead assets include the Erie Philharmonic, The Erie Playhouse and the Flagship Niagara League to name a few.

"They're the ones really bringing money into the region through tourism, but they're also creating a great quality of place for the folks that live here," said Perry Wood, ECGRA Executive Director.

    Since 2008, ECGRA has invested more than $21 million in ErieCounty.
