NOVEMBER 16, 2012- Flames ripped through a home in Platea.  It's now a total loss.

And a hobby garage in Waterford is now a shell of a building after a fire destroyed it.

It took multiple crews to fight both fires.

Luckily, no one was injured in either.

A fire ripped through a home at 11065 Springfield Road in Platea around 3:30 afternoon.

According to reports from the scene, the fire began at the back of the home and spread up.

Multiple crews battled the flames and the fire was put out in thirty minutes.

The home is said to be a total loss.

Investigators aren't sure of the cause.

The family is now on the streets, but everyone is okay.

And just moments later, a blaze fire broke out in Waterford.

The hobby garage fire at 2007 Helen Lane happened just after 4 this afternoon.

The garage was located far behind the home, and several crews were able to contain it to just that area.

No one was inside the garage at the time and no one was injured.

Officials are still investigating the cause.
