Beloved Erie International Airport K-9 Rocky was put to sleep Thanksgiving morning.

The-13-year-old English Black Lab suffered a series of medical issues over the years including jaw cancer and fractured vertebrae.

His health deteriorated more in the past few months and he was no longer able to walk.

Rocky served as an airport k-9 for 9 years.

He will be cremated with his favorite toy... a tennis ball.
