Commit To Call

November 27, 2012

The American Heart Association wants you to take action when it comes to the first signs of a heart attack.

Commit to Call officially begins today.

It's a program geared towards encouraging patients to seek emergency treatment at the first sign of a heart attack.

The campaign is called When Hearts Attack and features a heart mascot.

Leaders from the American Heart Association want people to take the signs of a heart attack seriously and call 911 for help rather than wait around.

Heart disease is the number one cause of death in the US and the American Heart Association hopes this campaign will cut that number down with people seeking treatment instead of waiting.
