watch video

November 28, 2012--An Erie businesswoman is reaching out to the community to help the men and women fighting for our country.

Candy Miller owns Candy's Notary Services in Erie and has started the "Give Back Project"

Miller wants to collect Christmas items for veterans returning from the battlefield, or returning home from overseas duty.

She hopes to collect not only Christmas gifts, but food items and gift cards and certificates.

Miller says she knows how hard it can be for some servicemen and women once they get back home.

You can drop off your donations at candy's notary services at 317 East 12th Street in Erie

There is a freezer available for frozen food donations.

Donations will be collected through December 21st.
