December 3rd, 2012

McDowell High School students saw first hand today the impact impaired drivers have on thousands of families in Pennsylvania.

PennDOT and the Erie County DUI Coalition brought the DUI Victims Moving Memorial to the high school today.

Students saw more than 2 thousand names that represent individuals killed in drunk driving accidents.

Officials believe a display like this impacts the students.

Students also used a portable impaired - distracted driving simulator to demonstrate the consequences.

Students also signed a totaled car pledging to wear a seat belt and to not drink and drive.
