Holiday party time is here and that presents plenty of opportunities to derail your diet, unless you know which pitfalls to avoid.
Kristen Kirkpatrick at the Cleveland Clinic suggests eating before you head out, setting a 5 appetizer limit and bringing your own healthy dish to share. And she says, avoid drinking too much by keeping your alcohol intake to 1 or 2 glasses at your holiday parties, or opt for a wine spritzer.
