December 11th, 2012

There's a meeting on the Mead Avenue Bridge tonight in Meadville.

The plans for the new bridge will be on display.

For the people who own businesses in the area, the news of a plan to rebuild by 2014 comes as welcome news.

The bridge was closed in 2007 after a failed inspection. If all goes as planned the new bridge will be ready to cross in the fall of 2014.

The meeting is set for tonight at 6:30 pm at the William Douglass Junior Corporate Conference Center, that's in Meadville on Bessemer Street.

Officals from PennDOT will be on hand with the plans.

The public is invited to attend and take a look at the proposals.
