Weslyville Legion Helps Several Local Charities

Several area agencies received an early Christmas present from the American Legion Post 571 in Wesleyville.

  The commander of the Carl Neff Post handed out checks totaling 25 thousand dollars to nine agencies.  The money was collected at the legion throughout the year.

Each year members select several charitable organizations to donate to.

The agencies receiving checks today included the Second Harvest Food Bank
Interfaith and St James Food Pantries, Emmaus Ministries, The Salvation Army, City Mission, Times Old Newsies, PA Housing For Homeless Veterans and WQLN.

What WONDERFUL people there are at, American Legion Post 571 in Wesleyville, that they collected so much money for all those who have been desperately needing the extra help! YAY to EVERYONE at the, American Legion Post 571 in Wesleyville, for being so very generous, and looking after other's like they have!!! : )
