It was a welcome home fit for a championship team.

The escort for the champions began at West 26th and I-79 and continued along West 12th Street to the Prep Events Center where family and fans waited to welcome the team home.

Prep beat Archbishop Wood 24 to 14 Friday night in Hershey for the team's second state championship.

The last time Prep brought home a state championship was in 2000 when they beat Central Bucks West.
