County Council Interviewing Candidates for Beeman's Spot
DECEMBER 16, 2012- County
Council members will continue interviewing candidates to fill the seat held by
Ebert Beeman.
There
were 18 applicants for the spot to take over 6th district representation.
Council
plans to interview at least five of them this Wednesday.
The
The following applicants
include: Edward T. DiMattio Jr., of Waterford, who had an unsuccessful run for
the 6th District seat in 2009; Trish Shoulders, of Edinboro; Michael F. Leyda,
of Union City; Patrick Lyons, of Edinboro; Walter Miller, former Cranesville
mayor; Braden McCrillis, Union City borough councilman; Karen Molitor,
Waterford Borough Council president; Ray Overholt, of Edinboro; and Union
Township resident Timothy Church.Corey Harris, of Edinboro; Betty Kelley, an
auditor in LeBoeuf Township; Bobby Bruce, of Edinboro; Dave Sample, of Corry, a
member of the Erie County Gaming Revenue Authority; Eric J. Hammill, of
Edinboro; Harold E. "Gene" Vogt, Greenfield Township's auditor; Kevin
L. Bartlett, a member of the Greenfield Township planning commission; Waterford
Township Supervisor Gary L. White; and Richard V. Crilley, of Edinboro.
