DECEMBER 19, 2012-  Fourth graders from one local elementary school are giving back to the animals this holiday season.

The 4th graders at Clark Elementary normally have a gift exchange, but they decided against that this year.

Instead, they donated gifts to the Humane Society.

Tonight, students brought in dozens upon dozens of treats, food and toys for the animals.

School officials from Clark Elementary say this has been a wonderful learning experience.

The Humane Society received more than 100 donations from ClarkElementary School's fourth graders.
