Erie Feeling Wrath of Winter Storm


DECEMBER 21, 2012-  It's a wintry blast we've been waiting for, the storm that's been moving across much of the country leaving its mark as we speak...

        The wind and the snow began this afternoon and have been picking up steam ever since...

        Spin outs, accidents and power outages have been reported across Northwestern Pennsylvania.....

    The hardest hit areas have been as you drive away from lakeshore...

        Emergency crews from all over the area have been busy responding to numerous traffic accidents...

        This is the first significant snowfall of the season, but the people we spoke to say it could quite possibly be one of the worst in recent memory

   At Erie International Airport, one flight arriving from Detroit and one leaving to Detroit were cancelled late this afternoon....

   So far, all flights in and out for tomorrow are listed as being on time.
