Mother Nature dumped her first significant snow fall of the winter season on the Tri-state area last night.
It caused poor driving conditions all over the region.
Hardest hit were the traditional snow-belt areas, away from the lake, like Meadville.
People who live in the city of Erie might find it hard to believe that parts of Crawford County had up to 16 inches of snow.
Shovels and snow blowers were in action in Meadville today as the clean-up began.
