Miss Pennsylvania Ready for Miss America
December 26, 2012 - In just one week, Jordyn Colao will be on a plane headed west for Las Vegas, Nevada.
She will represent Pennsylvania, along with Millcreek Township.
The 23-year-old is a McDowell High School graduate and a Penn State alum.
Colao was crowned Miss Pennsylvania in May after competing against 53 other women from Pennsylvania.
Her platform has been The American Heart Association and the Children's Miracle Network.
Colao is proud to represent Erie and is anxious for January 12th.
It's been a busy year since she was crowned Miss Pennsylvania in May.
"I've been able to travel Pennsylvania, work on my platform, which is The American Heart Association and the Children's Miracle Network," Colao said. "Seeing those children is amaznig."
