Frontier Neighborhood Celebrates The Season

watch video
December 28, 2012

It was a perfect wintry night for an old fashioned ride in a horse and buggy to celebrate the season...

This festive event was popular for the Frontier Neighborhood in the past... And this year they brought it back after Christmas so the community can enjoy each other and where they call home.

Even though Christmas has come and gone...the 220 families in the Frontier Neighborhood weren't ready to stop celebrating...

The Frontier Association put on a neighborhood sleigh ride... Residents cozied up to one another on this brisk night to ride up and down the streets singing Christmas carols and checking out the great holiday lights.

Coordinators tell us this winter event is very important for residents in the Frontier Neighborhood because it keeps people connected through the holidays...especially during this time when it's easy to stay indoors because of the snow.

And the association wants to continue to have events like this... And now it's possible with the new LEAF education building.
