watch video
The Erie Redevelopment Authority is ready to set up sewage lines in an old downtown building that theyre trying to turn into new condominiums. The Authority says theyve already received some funding for the $5,000,000 project, now theyre waiting to hear from other various lenders. This project will turn the old mercantile building at 14th and State into 14 condo units. Now, the Redevelopment Authority is asking Erie City Council to approve a resolution to provide sewer tap-ins for the building. Construction is expected to begin this summer, and the Authority hopes to see the condos occupied by the beginning of next year.
