Local Woman Vying for Miss America Title
Miss Pennsylvania, Erie native Jordyn Colao, says she's hoping to use her dancing skills to help snag the Miss America crown this weekend.
The 23-year-old Colao has a lot to offer, but her years of preparation included a lot of help from people right here in Erie County.
Miss Lucy herself was Colao's tap dancing teacher for years.
She says Colao is the total package, and her years of training will pay off this coming Saturday.
Miss Lucy went on to say, even as a child Jordyn had a special something, and at age 3 she was a true performer.
JET24 will be in Las Vegas for Miss America 2013.
