Army Anti-bullying Campaign Stops By Prep

January 9th, 2013

An anti-bullying campaign rolled through town today by way of an Army mobile unit.

The mobile exhibit stopped by Cathedral Prep and invited students aboard to learn the importance of stopping bullying in schools.

Non commissioned officers also taught students about cyber bullying and showed teens specific examples of how to handle bullying situations they may face.

The officers help school administrators guide their students who are involved in bullying situations.

The Kentucky-based program travels the U.S. each year.

The program is growing in popularity and is planning on adding more schools to their list of stops, including some right here in our area.
