Former Pittsburgh Steeler Visits Family First

JANUARY 13, 2013-Some local kids got the athletic chance of a lifetime today.

Former Pittsburgh Steeler Jovon Johnson held a youth football camp at the Family First Golf Dome in SummitTownship.

    The Erie native directed the camp and was joined by other former ErieHigh School, collegiate and professional stars.

    Johnson's WinterSkillsAcademy gives local athletes ages nine through eighteen, a chance to learn elite fundamentals and skills.

Johnson hopes to continue the camp in his home town, for years to come.

    He also stuck around to pass out some autographed memorabilia to the children who participated.
