Erie Police have arrested the man who beat up a taxi cab driver last month.
24-year old Mark Alan Salhoff was arrested Tuesday on thirteen charges including attempted homicide and aggravated assault.
Salhoff attacked taxi driver Eric Fletcher back on May 16th.
Police say Salhoff hit Fletcher more than 30 times over the head with a ratchet after the taxi driver picked him up near 31st and Walnut streets.
Salhoff then drove off in the cab and later crashed it into two cars on Huron Street.
Police say Salhoff had been drinking heavily prior to the incident.
Salhoff is now in the Erie County Prison on $50,000 bond.
