watch video

Jan 14th, 2013 - The American Legion held a town hall meeting to find out what problems female veterans are having accessing healthcare.

Female veterans were on hand to air out their concerns.

Representatives from the Legion's System Worth Saving task force will be in the area this week for an annual review.

The information provided will be used to see what support can be offered to these veterans.

The Erie Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center serves more than 1000 female veterans.

Officials say the input is necessary to better the system.
