CLP Board of Trustees Responds to Criticism
We reported on Tuesday that Conneaut Lake Park's tax debt is reaching a 7 digit deficit, and county officials are expecting park trustees to present a repayment plan to them next month.
In response to the tax situation, the Conneaut Lake Park board of trustees issued a statement late last night reminding taxpayers that the park has paid 28-thousand dollars towards its tax debt in the past year, and has made substantial improvements to the park.
The statement also said quote: "The trustees are fully aware of the tax obligation of CLP and have been working hard to continue to make progress to increase revenue sources and continue to make tax payments."
