Hundreds March in Honor of King's Birthday
Today also marks the birth of civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Wintry weather in Erie didn't keep hundreds away, who gathered to remember King's legacy.
People from around the globe marched down 6th street in Erie.
Dr. King's "I Have a Dream" speech at the 1963 March on Washington, inspired today's march.
Marchers view this day as a celebration of how far we've come.
Andrea Horton, the president of the Erie branch of the NAACP, was also in attendance and gave a speech of his own.
