Area State Legislators Form NWPA Delegation

Harrisburg - January 22, 2013 - In an attempt to collaborate on issues at the local level and find a common voice for constituents in Harrisburg, State Senator Sean Wiley (D-PA 49th District) has created the Northwest Pennsylvania (NWPA) Delegation. That delegation met for the first time this morning in Senator Wiley's Harrisburg office.

Senator Wiley invited all 5 State Representatives who serve within the 49th District: Rep. Pat Harkins, Rep. Flo Fabrizio, Rep. Curt Sonney, Rep. Rep. Greg Lucas and Rep. Ryan Bizzarro. Bizzarro was the only Representative unable to attend due to a scheduling conflict.

The purpose of the delegation is to discuss issues specific to northwestern Pennsylvania as well as issues throughout the Commonwealth that have an impact on the region.

The members of the delegation have agreed to meet on a regular basis in the 49th district.
