The Regional Cancer Center will begin its 2013 Educational Seminar Series as part of its public education awareness programs to help cancer patients, family members, and the general public. The RCC Educational Series has been set for the months of January, February, and March. The topics "Challenges to Providing Cancer Care Today, and Estate, Financial and Retirement Planning" will be discussed.
Part I: Conrad J. Stachelek, MD, PhD RCC, Director Radiation Oncology will speak on "A cancer diagnosis can be life changing news. The impact of that diagnosis is overwhelming to patients and their loved ones. At the Regional Cancer Center physicians and nurses keep patients and their families informed about treatment options and invite them to participate in decisions at every step along the way.
