Penn State Behrend Students Take on Global Game Jam
JANUARY 27, 2013- 48 hours. Four teams. One goal.
Four groups of students at Penn State Behrend put their programming skills to the test to design a video game ... in just two days.
The
two day cram session to develop a videogame is part of an international
challenge called Global Game
More than ten thousand people around the world participated.
Every game created revolved around a theme -- the sound of a heartbeat.
Penn State Behrend lecturer Doctor Matthew White says his team did some pretty creative things this year.
There is no winner of the Global Game Jam, but it does show off the computer skills of Behrend students to the rest of the world.
