Kozloff Sentenced for Shooting, Killing Boyfriend
Rachel Kozloff, 31, was sentenced to 18 to 40 years behind bars.
She was found guilty of homicide in the third degree after fatally shooting her boyfriend Michael Henry back in April.
On December 7th, Kozloff was found guilty of one charge of homicide in the third degree, one charge of possessing a firearm and one charge of recklessly endangering another person.

She said she had to shoot him to protect herself after she says he tried to rape and abuse her.
Judge Shad Connelly sentenced Kozloff to 18 to 40 years in state prison.
"The impact that this situation has on the victim's family is difficult and permanent," said Judge Connelly. "As for the rest of the charges, the weapons count calls for a maximum of five years and recklessly endangering another person carries a max of two years behind bars."
District Attorney Jack Daneri tells us he believes justice was served today even though Kozloff won't be facing the maximum charge of 47 years.
Daneri says Kozloff is a pathological liar who feels no remorse.
But Jamie Mead, Kozloff's attorney, argues, saying it's a difficult situation for both the victim and the defendant.
