Erie police are investigating a reported burglary at a west Erie business that happened earlier this month.

Police say about 29 thousand dollars worth of construction materials were taken from a storage building.

This reportedly happened between January 17th at 6pm and January 18th at 1 pm at Erie General Contracting's storage building.

If anyone has information, you're asked to contact Detective Spizarny at 870-1258.

That's an awful lot of material to steal. One person just doesn't walk away with a haul that big. And where do you hide it or sell it? I think there is more to this story than the reporter was told.
