February 6th, 2013

The Millcreek School Board will meet in a special session Thursday evening.
A notice for the meeting was posted on the Millcreek School District's website today.

We've learned there will be an executive session followed by a public meeting at 7pm.
It's expected taxpayers will learn more about the future of superintendent Michael Golde, who continues to draw his salary while on administrative leave.

To this day neither the elected school board nor district administrators are saying why the superintendent has been  given time off with pay.
Meanwhile, unanswered questions also remain on the handling of district finances under Golde's stewardship.

As we first reported, under scrutiny is the district's borrowing of five million dollars from its capitol building fund.
More on the audit and the district's building plan may be discussed.
