City Donates Money to Vietnam Veterans Memorial Project

The Erie Vietnam Veterans Memorial Project is getting a donation from the city.
City council approved a transfer of 5 thousand dollars from the general fund to support the efforts for the project.
Officials from the Vietnam Memorial Group say it will go towards the 169 thousand dollar second phase which includes the education part of the project.
There will also be six tablets around the memorial with Vietnam War history.
