Blizzard Bags Packed At 2nd Harvest Food Bank

Meal recipients who depend on Metro Meals On Wheels won't have to worry about not having a meal when bad weather hits.
Volunteers at the 2nd Harvest Food Bank, and staff from Senator Sean Wiley's office, were busy packing 320 "blizzard bags" to be delivered to home bound seniors and adults with disabilities....
Meals On Wheels teamed up with 2nd Harvest to ensure that the meal recipients will have a meal handy when the delivery drivers can't hit the streets. The non perishable foods should be put away and used in the event the drivers can't get to the house.
