Dollar General Once Again Denied Variance

Officials from a popular retail store brought new plans in front of the city's zoning hearing board today.

Back on January 8th, Dollar General officials wanted a dimension variance that would allow them to build on the northwest corner of East 26th and Ash streets.
It was denied four to zero.

Today, they came before the zoning hearing board seeking a use variance.
They were denied again by a 5 to zero vote.

OKay, what does anyone on that board have against Dollar General? They BRING in a LOT of revenue wherever they are, do you actually think that anyone else is going to bring in more revenue on that corner, or are you just NOT thinking here?? MORE revenue in...less taxes for everyone else!!!
