Negotiations in Crawford County continue between county officials and Conneaut Lake Park trustees about hundreds of thousands of dollars owed in back taxes.

Crawford County Commissioner Francis Weiderspahn says the solicitor and treasurer met with the Conneaut Lake Park trustees last Thursday evening.

Meanwhile, negotiations are still underway for the more than 800 thousand dollars Conneaut Lake Park owes in back taxes.

A specific date has not been set for when the park has to repay the taxes.
Another meeting will be held this month, however a date has not been set.

Oh, come one...CLP just really is starting up again, PLEASE don't shut it down...what if they have some kind of charity thing or raffle from people wanting to keep it going? Isn't there something, someone CAN do to keep it? Sooo many people have been working on CLP without pay to get it up and running again, it would seem a real shame that it would't keep going just because of this, is there ANY way they can pay the back taxes like some people do on their Government taxes, like smaller payments, etc. ?
