Pennsylvanians Weigh in on Privatization of PA Lotto

watch video

FEBRUARY 14, 2013- The Pennsylvania Lottery will NOT be privatized, for now.

This, following the announcement by Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane who rejected Governor Corbett's contract Tuesday afternoon.

Kane says it violates the constitution.

"It is our responsibility to protect people of Pennsylvania by enforcing Pennsylvania Constitution."

Kane's decision came after Corbett led a 9 month process to hire private company Camelot Global Services to replace state employees.

This contract would have let the British Firm manage the 3.5 billion dollar Pennsylvania Lottery...

Pennsylvanians have mixed reviews about the decision, some saying they support it while others are against it.
