PI 365: All Washed Up

watch video

February 15, 2013

A unique two-part program is coming to the shores of Presque Isle.

In this week's PI 365, Jessica Starr takes tells us about the program called "All Washed Up".

Many of us enjoy walking along the beach and picking up stones, sea glass, and the occasional shell, but these could actually turn out to be timeless treasures.

The first part of the program is taking a look at items that have washed up on the beaches of Presque Isle. Some of the items are artifacts from thousands of years ago.

Participants can also bring items they have found on their own, and have them analyzed by the experts.

The second part of the program is walking along Barracks Beach with those experts, and finding and trying to identify items that have washed up.

The program takes place February 23, 2013.
