Plenty of people joined the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church for a Mini Greek Festival on Saturday afternoon.

People had the opportunity to enjoy some of their favorite Greek foods, from gyros, to baklava, and much more.

The mini festival is put on by the church and helps the church raise money for itself and the charities it supports. It also is meant to get people excited about the big annual Panegyri Greek Festival, to be held this year on July 8th.

"We started this awhile back and everybody looks forward to it. When summer comes, they're always excited for the festival," Sallie Caputis, Mini Greek Festival helper, said.
