I-79 Accident Near Cochranton

Two people were injured this morning when their car rolled over on Interstate 79.
At about 4:20 this morning, emergency crews were called to I-79 about two miles south of the Cochranton exit on for reports of a rollover accident in the northbound lane.

According to reports from the scene, the two occupants of the vehicle were traveling north on the interstate when the driver failed to negotiate a left turn.
The driver swerved to get back on the road, but crossed the lane and ran into a ditch, causing the car to flip over.
Both occupants were taken to Meadville Medical Center with minor injuries.
