February 18th, 2013

Harborcreek High School along with local veterans wanted to honor and show respect to a fallen war veteran.

Today was a presentation of distinguished service for Ray Krupinski, who was a platoon leader during the Vietnam War.

Krupinski risked his life rescuing two of his men in an ambush and was given the second highest award.
State representatives and Judge Michael Dunlavey wanted to honor Ray's mother Doris for her sons accomplishments.

Officials wanted students to understand that there are heroes that need to be recognized right here in our own backyard.
