New Life Center Benefits fron Events Like "Knockout Homelessness"
Money raised at the "Knockout Homelessness" event directly benefits the Erie City Mission.
The mission was able to build the New Life Center thanks to private donations and money raised from events like Knockout Homelessness.
The New Life Center officially opened on January 14th and is located on 11th and French Streets.
It's a three story, 16 thousand square foot dormitory center.
The emergency shelter has beds for 56 men and there are 42 beds for men who are enrolled in the New Life Program.
The building cost 2.2 million dollars but has been completely paid for.
