Some Titusville Pre-K and Kindergarten students got a new hairstyle, all for a good cause.

A small ceremony was held today at the Early Childhood Learning Center in Titusville for the children and adults who cut off their hair to donate to those in need.

The hair donations are going towards the Pantene Beautiful Lengths Charity, for women who are fighting cancer to receive free, real-hair wigs.

The teacher who organized this "hair drive", Amy Hollabaugh says she can't believe how many girls donated their hair. "This is just astonishing. We were hoping for 1 or 2 girls, but to have 11 people taking part in this is just more than we ever could have wished for."

A whopping total of 116 inches of hair was donated.
