Erie Zoo Opens for 2013 Season

Zoo lovers rejoice!

The Erie Zoo opened its doors for the season today.

The crew started taking down the closed signs, and at 10 a.m., the gates were unlocked.

This Sunday is one of the biggest days of the year for the zoo and includes free admission.

The focus this weekend is on the fun events, including free coffee and donuts, animal shows, educational demonstrations, crafts and games.
