Selena King's Kick Off for City Council Candidacy

MARCH 3, 2013-A Democratic candidate for Erie City Council held her official campaign kick off today.

Dozens filled Johnny's Sports Bar for Selena King's first official kick off event.

King spent the weekend volunteering, training and canvassing.

She says it is her mission to move the city of Erie forward with passion and a purpose.

King attended Gannon University and currently works for the Girl Scouts of Western Pennsylvania.

She has secured more than 100 needed signatures to get on the ballot.
